Welcome to Docuconverter (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using our website at docuconverter.in (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our Service.
1. Use of the Service
Docuconverter provides free online document conversion tools. You may use the Service for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the Service:
- To upload or process files containing illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
- To attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload our servers.
- To use automated scripts to make excessive conversion requests.
- To circumvent rate limits or access controls we have in place.
2. Your Files & Privacy
Files you upload are processed on our servers and deleted immediately after conversion. We do not store, sell, or share your document contents with any third party. For full details on data handling, please read our Privacy Policy.
3. Account & Authentication
To use the conversion tools, you must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We do not store passwords. Your conversion history is associated with your Google email address.
4. Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of all files you upload and the converted outputs. By using the Service, you grant us a temporary, limited licence to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the conversion. This licence expires immediately once the conversion is complete and the file is deleted.
The Docuconverter name, logo, and website design are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced without permission.
5. Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control without prior notice.
6. File Size & Rate Limits
Each file upload is limited to 50 MB. Conversion requests are rate- limited to prevent abuse and ensure fair access for all users. Excessive or automated use may result in temporary access suspension.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that conversions will be error-free, perfectly formatted, or meet your specific requirements. You are responsible for reviewing converted output before use.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Docuconverter and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, corruption, or formatting errors in converted files.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
